Carton Concepts is headed up by David Raymer, a Packaging Designer with extensive knowledge of all facets of the packaging industry and an instructor of the Kasemake packaging CAD software.
David entered into the packaging industry in 1993 as a machine operator. Here he learnt how to set-up and operate the many different machines used in the packaging industry including die-cutters, guillotines, complete folder gluers, sheet laminators, etc.
In 2000, he entered into packaging design. Using his first-hand knowledge of the processes involved, he ensures that not only do the packaging designs work, but they also factor in the most economical layout for the production processes for your company.
Adding to the structural design, David completed his Certificate IV in Electronic Publishing at RMIT in Melbourne. This enables Carton Concepts to also offer a graphic design service to compliment the structural design services offered.
With such an extensive knowledge of the Kasemake software, David joined Converta Machinery P/L (the Australian agents for the Kasemake software) performing installations, training and technical support for the Kasemake software and Aristo CNC Knife Cutting Machines.
David's career path has incorporated several companies such as: Service Containers (specialty division of AMCOR Fibre Packaging); KSH Cartons (now known as Cardboard Cartons); Carter Holt Harvey; and Converta Machinery. Adding to these is the network of relationships of many other useful contacts established over the years that can be called upon to offer you the best service available.
